Craig Sacco Named General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS, U.S.V.I., - September 3, 2015The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas recently announced that Craig Sacco will serve as the new general manager for the oceanfront, Ritz- Carlton Destination Club property. Located adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, which manages the Club according to an on-site management agreement, The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas is the largest Ritz-Carlton Destination Club property. In his new role, Mr. Sacco will oversee daily operations for 105 destination club residences spread over 10 acres.

Most recently, Mr. Sacco served at the general manager of resort operations for The Dorado Beach Resort & Country Club in Puerto Rico. Prior to his time in Puerto Rico, he also served as general manager of The Abaco Club on Winding Bay and director of operations at The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Jupiter. Mr. Sacco also previously served as the general manager at The Ritz–Carlton Club, Lake Tahoe in 2009 where he was responsible for management of the club and residential operations for the fractional and whole ownership residences. Sacco joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 1999 at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia as a bellman. He transferred to The Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove in Miami in 2002 where he was promoted over four years to director of loss prevention and quality for the 115-room hotel and 224 residences.

Sacco earned an associate degree in specialized technology, culinary arts and food and beverage management from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Widener University in Philadelphia. He furthered his development through hospitality-related certifications with The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. Sacco enjoys participating in outdoor sports in his free time.
Mr. Sacco and his fiancée, Julia, along with their two cats relocated to St. Thomas.
