The Ritz-Carlton Club Introduces Fixed Interest Membership Opportunity in Jupiter, Florida and St. Thomas, U.S.V.I

First Fractional Ownership Property in Aspen Remains Standard Bearer for Emerging Industry

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – NOVEMBER 28, 2006 – Members of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter and The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas now have the option to enjoy their deeded, fractional residence for the same weeks every year, instead of on a traditional rotating calendar. With the purchase of the new “fixed interest” membership, Members will choose when they would like to reside in their home, depending on personal preference.

“This new offering reinforces The Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to listening to its Members,” said Stephanie Sobeck, project director for The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter. “In this instance, we recognized that several of our Members and many prospective Members want to stay at the Club during special occasions or holidays on an annual basis, so we adapted the fractional offering to meet the request.”

Members in Jupiter have 35 days of luxury vacation living in a two- or four-bedroom Club Home with golf course views and access to the property’s clubhouse, golf course and Ritz-Carlton Spa. In St. Thomas, Members have 21 days in one of the 24 oceanfront two-bedroom Suite Residences with access to the adjacent Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas. Members at both properties enjoy dedicated concierge services, dining, Ritz Kids program, pre-arrival provisioning of the residences and twice-daily housekeeping.

“Since we launched this program to Members in early October, both properties have experienced a strong response,” said JoAnn Pierce, regional project director for The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas. “For example, Members enjoy the added flexibility in knowing they are vacationing in St. Thomas during President’s Week each year. This Member response has prompted other Club locations, such as The Ritz-Carlton Club, Kapalua in Hawaii, to offer the fixed interest option.”

Fixed interest memberships are limited. Pricing varies by property, though it ranges from $111,000 to $479,000 per interest. The fixed interest membership opportunity is also available at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands in Colorado.

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter is the first private country club community built by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. It features four distinctive home-ownership options – The Villas, The Residences, The Estates and the fractional ownership, Ritz-Carlton Club Homes. The Audubon-certified, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, as well as The Ritz-Carlton Spa, primarily serve residents of the property, although a limited number of non-resident memberships are available. Member amenities include the golf course and spa, a 68,000 square-foot clubhouse, tennis courts, members’ lounge, locker rooms with stewards, a resort-style swimming pool with waterfalls, Ritz Kids program and private dining facilities including a Ritz-Carlton signature restaurant called 115 Prime, and a casual pool bar and grill.

Located on the eastern tip of St. Thomas on a half-mile stretch of beach, the 105-residence, Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas provides a luxurious vacation home in paradise. Members enjoy fully-furnished two- and three-bedroom oceanfront residences complete with personal concierge services and the privileged use of the services and amenities at the adjacent and newly renovated Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, as well as golf at the nearby Mahogany Run. Resort amenities include a 53-foot luxury catamaran, The Lady Lynsey, water sports equipment, tennis courts, sophisticated boutiques and The Ritz-Carlton Spa. The Ritz-Carlton Club provides deeded, fractional ownership giving Members and their guests a one-twelfth interest or 21 days annually.
