The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter Appoints New General Manager, Craig Martin
JUPITER, Fla. – November 19, 2004 –Craig Martin has been appointedgeneral manager of The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter and vice president of private club operations for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. Mr. Martin is responsible for all operations at the acclaimed 285-acre residential golf community, including the 68,000 square-foot clubhouse and spa, which celebrates its first anniversary this month. Furthermore, his club operations duties include project development, strategic planning and implementation of the operational teams for future residential communities.
Mr. Martin comes to The Ritz-Carlton with extensive experience in both the club and hospitality industries through positions at several five-star, five-diamond resorts, including The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia and The Boca Raton Resort & Club in Fla. Most recently he served as senior vice president and COO of the Ginn Company, a private real estate and development company based in Celebration, Fla., where he was responsible for the oversight of five private clubs. Prior to that, he was the COO of The Club at Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter and was general manager of Old Marsh Golf Club.
Mr. Martin’s hotel experience also includes previous positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he was responsible for pre-opening and training at several hotels across the country including the properties in Buckhead and Atlanta, Ga; Dearborn, Mich.; and Manalapan, Fla. During his tenure, the hotel company was the first and only hotel company to ever receive the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award from The United States Department of Commerce.

Mr. Martin is an active member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), serving as the South Florida Regional Director for several years. He also served on several CMAA national committees, including Premier Club Services and Certification. He is an avid golfer and serves as a panelist for Golf Digest, as well as Nike’s advisory golf panel.
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter features three distinctive home-ownership options.
