Ronald Parker Named General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas
St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., – November 14, 2007 – The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas , recently named Ronald Parker as the new general manager for the oceanfront, fractional ownership property. In his new role, Parker will oversee daily operations for The Club.

Parker’s experience with the company spans between both field and corporate positions. Most recently, Parker held the position of vice president of purchasing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in Chevy Chase, Md.
He possesses extensive experience in the field including working at seven Marriott International, Inc. properties: Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; New York and Westchester, N.Y.; Saddlebrook, N.J.; and Atlanta. Additionally, Parker was the regional director of procurement for Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Atlanta, as well as director of operations for Marriott properties in Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic Games. In 1995, Parker won the Rooms Manager of the Year award while working at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
Parker is a graduate of Miami’s Florida International University with a bachelor’s of science degree in hospitality management. A native of New York, Parker and his wife, Pamela, are relocating to St. Thomas.
