Affiliate of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. to assume management of The Abaco Club on Winding Bay, in the Bahamas
CHEVY CHASE, MD – April 20, 2006 –The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. and
Peter de Savary, Founder of the Abaco Club, today announced a new alliance which provides for an affiliate of the award winning company to assume management of The Abaco Club On Winding Bay, in The Bahamas.
Under the terms of the agreement, RC Abaco Holding Company, Ltd. has become a 50 percent equity partner. A full management transition will be effected by 1 July 2006; de Savary will continue as Chairman of the member’s Club. The name of the Caribbean development will be The Abaco Club On Winding Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Managed Club.
