Ralph Mottinger Named Director, Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas


ST. THOMAS, U.S.V.I., - April 10, 2007 – The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas recently named Ralph Mottinger as the new director, sales and marketing for the oceanfront, fractional ownership property. In this role, Mottinger is responsible for the management of all sales and marketing activities for The Club.

Mottinger has enjoyed a diverse career in sales – namely in vacation real estate and pharmaceuticals. Before relocating to St. Thomas, he served as director of sales at Kapalua Bay in Maui, Hawaii selling both The Ritz-Carlton Club and wholly-owned residences, as well as other sales roles over the years at Marriott Vacation Club properties in Palm Beach Shores, Fla. and Williamsburg, Va. Prior to his positions with Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton, Mottinger worked in the pharmaceutical industry for both Bayer Laboratories and Wyeth Worldwide. 


A native of Whiteville, N.C., Mottinger is a graduate of the University of Texas with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology.
