Andrew Rogers Appointed New Club General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomas


ST. THOMAS, U.S.V.I., – April 11, 2005 –The Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Thomasrecently named Mr. Andrew Rogers as the new club general manager for the private, fractional ownership resort in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. In coordination with Mr. William Coker, director of marketing and sales for The Club, and Mr. Brad Jencks, general manager of the adjacent Ritz-Carlton resort, Mr. Rogers is responsible for overseeing daily resort operations and assisting Members and their guests during their stay.

Holding a Class A Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) Professional Certification, Mr. Rogers has enjoyed a diverse career in the hospitality industry. Prior to this new position, he served as the director of golf and club operations at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter (Fla.), as well as the director of golf operations at the White Witch Golf Course for The Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, Jamaica. Additionally, he held the title of head golf professional at the Seaview Marriott Resort & Spa in Galloway, N.J.


A native of Vermont, Mr. Rogers is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. Throughout his career, he has also been active in professional organizations such as the Club Managers Association of America and Rotary International.


Located on the eastern tip of St. Thomas on a half-mile stretch of beach, the 81-residence Club provides a luxurious vacation home in paradise – without the maintenance and responsibilities associated with home ownership. Members enjoy personal concierge services, which assist them with their every need prior to and throughout their stay, and the privileged use of the services and amenities available at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas – including the 53-foot catamaran, Lady Lynsey, and the boutique spa, salon and fitness center. The Club provides deeded, fractional ownership allowing Members and their guests to use a one-twelfth interest, for 21 days annually. Members also have the opportunity to utilize supplemental time as space allows. Nearing sellout, Club membership prices range from $148,000 to $269,000 per interest, depending upon residence type selected.
