Just 170 miles east of the Florida mainland, The Abaco Club on Winding Bay is one of those rare spots where heaven reaches down to caress the earth. The Club is secluded within a dramatic cove, stretching out across 534 acres along more than two miles of private powder-soft white sand beach. Built into a lush peninsula, the development is rimmed by the spectacular 18-hole links style golf course along the north and the arching beach on the south.

Great Abaco Island is the second largest in the Bahamas, with Marsh Harbour – the third largest Bahamian town – located on it just 25 minutes north of the Club. The Club has its own terminal at the Marsh Harbour International airport, which provides daily direct commercial service. Residents here enjoy the convenience of our proximity to a safe, friendly and modern town with extensive cultural, entertainment and medical facilities. Nestled in a cove on beautiful Winding Bay, the Abaco Club will include 71 cottages and 63 estate lot homes. The property’s centerpiece is the Club’s private 18-hole golf course – the world’s first Scottish-style links course in a tropical location. Sculpted by renowned links designers Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie, the course provides spectacular views and championship-caliber play.

The lavish clubhouse, Beach Club, spa and fitness center, tennis courts, dining, and even an equestrian center ensure that residents always enjoy a full range of diversions without so much as leaving the Club grounds.

PRIVATE RESIDENCES

Seven distinctive cottage styles are available averaging more than approximately 2,000 square feet of interior space and nearly 1,000 square feet of decking. These cottages are artistically designed and fabulously finished with features such as vaulted ceilings, interior and exterior plantation shutters, bamboo flooring, tumbled stone tile baths and huge wood decks complete with teak outdoor furniture and grills.

For those who wish to design their own homes, estate lots are available featuring over 200 feet of beach, ocean or golf course frontage each. The lots line the more than two-mile shore along Winding Bay from Ocean Point to Rocky Point.
